A.C. came to fiction by way of poetry and songwriting, carrying a disciplined ear for cadence and a commitment to emotional honesty into every scene. Drafts often begin with a line overheard on a walk, a melody hummed between chores, or a fragment of memory pulled from family life; those fragments are then shaped through iterative revision until the emotional logic of the story feels inevitable.

Outside of writing, A.C. enjoys collaborating with other artists, experimenting with layout and typography for printed work. He is also interested in performing his poems in small venues. He lives in Missouri with his wife and three children. He writes best at dawn, with coffee and a notepad at hand.
